The SCR Elektroniks make Safety Test Panel has been designed to ensure comprehensive safety and performance evaluation of domestic appliances in compliance with IS 302-1 and IEC 60335-1 for production. This advanced system integrates multiple critical electrical tests into a single automated platform, allowing manufacturers and quality engineers to verify compliance and maintain high product reliability. The test sequence includes Earth Contact Resistance (ECR), High Voltage (HV) withstand testing, Insulation Resistance (IR), Leakage Current measurement, and overall Performance testing, all carried out in a predefined and controlled order.
A key feature of this system is its fully automated operation The tests will be carried out automatically one by one and if the failure is observed the test will be terminated.
Additionally, all test data is captured and recorded through LabVIEW software installed on an in-built PC. This allows for systematic logging of results, enabling detailed analysis and record keeping.

It integrates microcontroller logic with PC-based datalogging to ensure precision, repeatability, and traceability.

The test bench can be customized as per various user defined parameters such as high voltage and corresponding leakage current, constant current for earth contact, insulation resistance range as well as range of voltage and current.
The tester tests various safety tests of the domestic appliance and ensures safety to the end user (consumer) before being shipped. Also, it ensures quality and reliability (hence life) of the appliance thus improving brand value.
