The SCR Elektroniks developed Secondary Current Injection Test Trolley is a low-voltage, three-phase current injection system specially designed for testing switchgear components, protection systems, CTs, and relay circuits. It enables users to inject controlled current into secondary circuits and verify the performance of relays, meters, CTs, and protection schemes without the need for primary current injection.

The trolley is equipped with independent current selection and adjustment facilities for each phase, allowing accurate simulation of operating conditions. Built-in digital meters display current and voltage values, while an integrated test timer helps monitor relay operation and trip times with high accuracy.

Its robust design, ease of operation, and customization options make it a valuable testing solution for panel builders, CT manufacturers, electrical contractors, utility companies, and industrial plants.

In many power systems, Current Transformers measure high primary currents, typically in the range of 2000 A, 3000 A, or 5000 A. However, the CT secondary current is normally reduced to 1 A or 5 A for safe measurement and protection purposes.With multiple CT range selections and adjustable current control through a variac, the trolley offers flexibility for testing equipment with different current ratings. Its portable design makes it easy to move around manufacturing plants and testing facilities.
The Secondary Injection Test Trolley acts as a controlled current source and injects a precise secondary current into the circuit. This allows engineers and technicians to verify the correct operation of relays, meters, trip circuits, and protection systems without applying high primary currents.As a result, testing becomes safer, faster, more economical, and highly accurate.

Current Adjustment: Individual Variac provided for each phase for smooth current control.
CT Current Selection Ranges: 1 A, 5 A, and 10 A.

Primary Current Injection Test Trolley - 650 Max

AC Variable Current Source : 50 to 650A AC – This is a with the help of True RMS Sensing Servo Controller to keep the current within +/- 1% of set value. Additional automatic contactor based switching for on and off for cyclic endurance / timed on-off test
Output 6V, 650A, 8 V, 125 A and 10V, 50A selectable with link.
CT with 10, 20, 40, 80, 160, 320, 640 A primary taps and 1 Amp secondary. Selection of CT range with shorting link.
Contactor and Push Buttons for making ON / OFF the output – The unit can be operated with the help of micro-controller based keypad
Digital Ammeter 0 to 100.0% of CT Range Count of selected CT range.

Primary Current Injection Test Trolley- 500A max

AC Variable Current Source : 0 to 500A AC
Output 6V, 500A and 10V, 50A selectable with link.
CT with 10, 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500A primary taps and 1 Amp secondary. Selection of CT range with shorting link.
Contactor and Push Buttons for making ON / OFF the output.
Digital Ammeter 0 to 100.0% of CT Range Count of selected CT range.

Primary Current Injection Test Trolley - 1000A max

Variable Current Source 0 – 1000A with 1000A/5V, 500A/7V, 200A/8V, 100A/10V, 20A/20V tapping. The Range can be selected by selecting th e shorting links.
The CT will have 20 Amps., 100 Amps, 200 Amps, 500Amp & 1000Amp range.
The current will be displayed on 3 ½ digit Digital Ammeter.
Digital Voltmeter will be provided to know the variac position.
Digital Time Interval Meter 4 digits, with 4 ranges will be provided for “Trip Time” Measurement.
